Just about everybody you meet either enjoys candles, or at the very least knows someone who does. We’re a group of people who are very fortunate. We get to enjoy some of the finest natural wax scented candles you can find … while making a little extra cash on the side. Who can argue with that?
If you’re a candle lover, and/or someone who’s looking for fun home business, feel free to have a poke around. Read a few articles, post a message in the forum, or even contact one of our dealers directly. I want to thank Todd for starting this awesome Blog for each of us to read, share and learn about our awesome quality natural gourmet candles. He’s doing an awesome job here and I commend him for that. However, I’m not good at blogging but with a great teacher like him, I’m sure I will be good at it in no time.
I would like to invite everyone to join in with him/us to learn more about our awesome products. You won’t be sorry you did. This is a great place to learn about things you only “dreamed about”.

March 8th 2009 … I’ve been envisioning a site like this for years now … almost since I first got started in this candle business.
On the public side, this will be a multi-author blog with stories from our candle sellers about their successes, failures, and just plain day to day lives. On the back end, I also intend to use this site as a forum for team discussions, a repository for training materials, and a quick easy way to make announcements to our group.
I think I pretty much have the cosmetics in place. The forum is set up and working. We have author pages, and a mechanism for listing candle dealers grouped by state. I just need to add the RSS and Email subscription links, and it will be time to start inviting my team to participate. We currently have several hundred active distributors in the group, so it may take a little while to contact everyone, and get their permission to put their contact info on the website (I don’t want to just put up people’s phone numbers without asking). So, for the moment there may not be many states listed w/ active distributors, but I assure you the list will expand greatly over the coming weeks.
Update: Ok, so I got busy moving and haven’t made as much progress as I’d hoped. But, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I actually discovered that very cool wpmu plugin called buddypress may be available for single install wordpress blogs in the next couple of months. This will make it much easier to add distributor contact pages. In the mean time, I’ve added a contact forum to the “find a dealer near you” page. When people fill out the form, I will put them in contact with an active dealer in their area.
Again, progress is coming … in the mean time, I hope you enjoy the site.
